James Durbin is having some fun now. Rewinding to 2011, Santa Cruz native James Durbin was a finalist on season 10 of the widely popular television show, American Idol. After that he participated in the American Idol Tour with the finalists from that season. Then in November, he released his first rock album entitled Memories of a Beautiful Disaster and he is fiercely excited to hit the road and showcase his new songs. Durbin fans came out in droves to The Fuel Room in Libertyville, IL to check out his first live performance with his new band and they were pumped.
James Durbin with his band mates, Dylan Rosenberg on lead guitar, Blake Bunzel on guitar, Tyler Molinaro on bass, and Jeff Fabb on drums did not disappoint. Durbin took stage and the crowd went wild. He opened the night with his fans singing along and fist pumping to his rock-anthem hit Stand Up which led perfectly into his rocking All I Want and the night got heavier when he kicked it into high gear with Higher Than Heaven. Durbin told the crowd on several occasions how awesome it was to be playing in the bar scene. Getting close and personal with his fans seemed important as this was his first show promoting his new album. Other songs performed included Right Behind You, Screaming, his current release Love Me Bad, and the anti-bullying rocker Outcast.
If you have been starving for some new, exciting, and top-notch fresh rock-n-roll, James Durbin is your man! Dubin's vocal range is extensive and his live show and new songs will make you stand up and put your hands up!
